For this trailer we edited down an hour worth of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares , and had to edit it down to a one minute trailer . To do this I skimmed through the footage  and picked out the bits i thought represented the programme the best . This is what i created ...

John Lewis Advert

For this project we were asked to shorten the original advert from 1 minute 30 , to a minute long. I did this by cutting the original advert into different parts , and merging them together some i used transitions fro such as the 3D movie dissolve , and others i used a graphic match . For example when the girl twirls in one scene and then is twirling in another scene and put one after the other .

Kuleshov Experiment

This experiment was inspired by Kuleshov , he suggested that by changing the video in between cuts you can present characters in different lights . For example we filmed two shots one of someone with a blank expression , and another of them laughing ,then changed the scene that was filmed in between . One scene was a sad one of someone being bullied , another scene was a mean one of somebody a little different skipping and enjoying himself , and the last was a funny scene where someones friend threw a rubber at their face for a joke . this is what we managed to come up with ...

Deodorant Ad

This is my deodorant ad , we were given our first editing task to compose together various different deodorant ads and add our own music. I integrated the bits from adverts i found most interesting and changed the music half way through to fit the context of what had happened in the advert .   

Shot Types and Camera Angles

This was from our first lesson , where we were told to go out and shoot some different types of camera angles and shots . We focused on shoes , as if we were advertising them this is what we managed to create .

Hello , my name is Caitlin I'm a sixth form student at Tupton Hall currently studying media . In my spare time i enjoy going out and engaging in exciting activities with my friends . When i'm not in bed i'm usually doing something really fun with my time . I occasionally play Pokemon go with my neighbour Jim ,and his dog Wilson , although strangely Jim is extremely afraid of his beloved pooch.Love them none the less. My social life is pretty good , as everyone loves me !I love watching TV and series and my favourite TV show is Friends , its so funny so my question to you is "how you doinnnnnn";).
